"Tayo lang naman ang gumugulo sa buhay natin eh," said Enteng's mom. I am watching "Kung ako na lang sana", a movie starring Sharon Cuneta and Aga Mulach. It's true. It's one thing that, I can say, makes me say that I have matured. There are times when I feel like bawling like a baby, throwing anything I get my hands on, ripping papers, punching the wall or hurting myself. But, what I do is take it with a smile and go on with my life. I won't frown and do something stupid. I would think about it, what should be done, if there's any, and move on. Sometimes, though, I wonder if that's really living. It's like I am now void of extreme emotions.
While watching Enteng's dad suffer from Liver Cancer, I got scared. Suddenly, I cried, fearing old age and eventually, dying. I may feel strong surrounded by my loved ones but when I think of growing old, without my loved ones around, I don't think I can be happy. It will surely hurt seeing Franz heartbroken, seeing him cry and not being able to do anything about it, not being able to protect him from such pain. It can't be avoided by taking food supplements, by applying sunscreen and eating vegetables. Well, I guess all I can do is to seize the day. Make the most of every passing time and prepare my son to be strong, to be wise and try to save more money to leave him something to start a life with when we're gone.

An Old Log...
Log book, that is. I decided to print out my college notes so that I can have them bound or something so that it will look more organized. While doing that, I found a old blue log book. Part of it was used as a budget notebook while the other part was used as a journal. I found some interesting entries and decided to post them.

Just had breakfast. I love January 1. Everyone seems to be in a good mood despite of staying up late the night before. Every text message I received gives optimistic messages, wishes, and hopes that God will bless us and that may we be facing a better year.
I woke up early and even though the cold bed and Franz's warm hug shuts my senses off and were pulling me back to slumber, I stood up, made the bed, brought the dirty clothes out, organized our closet, arranged my books, went out and warmed the leftovers and returned the home theater system to its original place. I even made it work. Then, I played Mama's cd, a remix of Michael Learns to Rock (her favorite), Air Supply and Beatles.
We had baked mac, ham, crema de fruita and fruits. Not bad considering we had to finish the leftovers. We were not able to do it well, though. There's still lots of them left.
Here's what I got so far:
1. Realized it's so easy to operate and did it:
*microwave oven
*home theater system
2. Get up against my body's will
3. Done some minor cleaning and organizing in our room
4. Updated my journal
5. washed dishes
6. broke up a fight between Franz and Xandie over Plants Vs. Zombies coins
7. no negative thoughts
I might go to the shop to upload photos and print out a reviewer for English for Specific Purposes (ESP). Will take about maximum of 2 hours. And, I have to update my taxes journal.

Hoping for a New Moon
Yes, part of the reason why I'm excited to go to Iloilo next week for the COPRE is to see New Moon. I just have to find someone who's familiar with the place. I can easily get lost. Just like Bob Ong (See Paboritong Libro ni Hudas).
Well, I have to be updated with the current events, brush up on my vocabulary and grammar and keep in mind what my English Professors taught me, and pray really hard. REALLY REALLY HARD.
I won't ask for you guys to wish me good luck. I prefer "God Bless" like what my friend Alienware always say.

Going Gaga...
Lady Gaga = ♥
I am so into the "Paparazzi" music video of Lady Gaga. Dark and sexy. Love the ending - her posing for the mug shots. Fierce.

Love Story
I like the song Love Story by Taylor Swift. But not when it's played 84,000 times non-stop.

Happy Birthday Pa!

Malamang hindi naman mabasa ni Papa to. Hindi naman kasi siya nag-iinternet. Wala lang. Gusto ko lang.
Birthday nya kasi ngayon. June 6.
Binili ni Tonifet to nung nasa Bataan kami. Na-miss ko siya lalo. Hay, maulan pa naman. Saktong klima para sa mga nagse-senti. Gusto ko na naman tuloy uminom. Amf. Nagiging alcoholic na yata ako. Makaramdam lang ng konting lamig gusto nang uminom. Ano ka mayaman? Hmp!
Happy Birthday Pa! I love you!

Sad Movies Always Make me Cry
Amf. These last few weeks, I suddenly start to enjoy old Filipino movies. Especially those comedy films. Yeah, the jokes are a bit corny, okay, that's an understatement but I dunno. Suddenly I find them funny. I'm talking about Dolphy, Babalu. Tito Vic and Joey films. I just realize that I miss Babalu. :D
But this afternoon, while having lunch, we saw a teenage flick starring China Ortaleza, Richard Guttierez, Angel Locsin, Railey Something, Oyo Boy Sotto, Cogie Domingo and Danilo Barrios. Sounds like the second (or third?) batch of TGIS, right? I didn't catch the title since it already started when we turn TV on and that's what I hate about cable tv. I hope they can just flash the title of the movie thrice. In the beginning, middle and before it ends.
Well, the thing is, it made me cry. I know almost everything makes me cry but I don't do that that much on Filipino teenage flicks. I only watch them when I like an actor or actress in the cast. In this case, I am not a fan of any of them but each character's issues caught my attention. They aren't just like any ordinary teenage problems like my-parents-are-always-working-and-don't-have-time-for-me-anymore stuff.
Spoiler alert, Danilo Barrios died and he's the nicest (sometimes over-enthusiastic) among them all.
Well, nothing too deep to share. Just take time to remind each and everyone of your family and friends how much they mean to you once in a while if you can't do it everyday. I'm not talking about forwarded text messages but real communication. You know what I mean.
